 Medical marijuana has been gaining acceptance these days contrary to how it has been a prohibited drug in most countries for so many years. It has been considered tabooed for eons but considering the fact that this tabooed drug has been found out to have such valuable treatment of certain diseases. The medical uses of marijuana includes the gradual curing or minimizing the pain brought about by the painful effects of acquiring cancers, arthritis, brain injury, stroke, asthma, migraines, HIV/ AIDS diagnosis, seizures, chronic pain, and glaucoma. It has even been proven to ease the pain of patients who have had undergone the side effects of chemotherapy. 

In fact it is even way less addictive and has lesser long term side effects from the usage of alcohols, tobaccos and cigarettes. That is why this particular drug is now legally used or has been legalized and has gained momentum for the past ten years.

Almost 11 states have legalized the use of marijuana for medical purposes and one of these States includes California.
