2012 Constitutional Law Days

Being a student council, it is primordial that for every event we want to initiate it has to be successful and indeed it was and to God be the glory for that. Last February 24-26, the College of Law's SLSC (Supreme Law Student Council) formally began it's yearly celebration of the so-called "Constitutional Law Days" or to simply put it, the sports/rest day for all law students. More like a break from reading and studying. Within three days certain contests were held such as the tent contest, cheer leading, tug of war, Maria went to town, footsteps in the sand, volleyball, basketball and badminton just to name a few of the recreational activities. It was really fun and fireworks display were presented at the last day of the event.

There were also invitational games from MSU main's College of Law as well as Iligan's College of Medicine. A forum on environmental laws by the Director of the Environmental Management Bureau in Region X was held as spearheaded by Dir. Sabudllah Abubacar and a representative from the City Government of Iligan, Mr. Moises Dalisay was also present to impart his words of wisdom regarding this Consti Law Days theme "Wielding the power of law to protect and conserve Mother Nature: Indoctrinating responsible stewardship of its resources" in lined also with the tragic event last year concerning the Sendong tragedy.

It's a first time for the College of Law to have had a forum on Consti Days and it was quite educational for we have learned so much while having a good time academically and non-academically at that.  It was such a fun event and I see everyone really had enjoyed their three-day break from law school's horror most especially for those who have been present for three days straight. So when we talk about fun, here are pictures for you to feast on. Hehe.
