Maka-pasta po ako!

Yup! Pasta is the name. Haha. Totoo. I am addicted to pastas, any kind of it. Even if punta kami ng mall, ayoko sa McDo, Chowking not even sa Jollibee although I admit mahal ko ang iba kaso mas mahal ko ang Greenwich. Ang sarap sarap ng pasta nila doon, pizza at french fries and of course, ang favorite ko na four seasons. Nang dahil sa mga fast food chains na to especially Greenwich, ito ang rason kung bakit ako tumaba starting last year nong time na nagwowork pa ako as a writer in an online job. Haay.. those were the days.

But wait, ano ba meron sa pasta at ang sarap nito?

Sabi ni pareng Google, pasta daw has a long and noble history. I also saw in the TV sa channel ng Lifestyle Network yong show ng dalawang Italyano na chef na favorite ni mama panoorin. I learned na ang pasta daw ay  pagkain ng mga poor sa Italya. It was invented daw ng isang mahirap na Italyano preferrably sa Naples with the intention na this food can be stored up for years for the poor to have enough to eat three times a day. It was indeed, the pride and glory of Italy. And isa sa mga royal blood ng Italy, si Queen Margarita came to the community of the poor and nakikain sa tinaguriang "pagkain ng mga mahihirap" at dahil doon mas na-appreciate ito ng kanyang mga nasasakupan at mas napamahal siya rito.

And because of that also, ginawan ng mga chef sa Naples ang Reyna ng pizza at pasta na ipinangalan sa kanya. So if you like to travel to Italy then better yet order their famous pasta or pizza Margarita. Ang hindi ko lang alam if saan talaga nag-originate ang pasta kase apart from Italy, ang bansang China din is claiming that they have been making pasta since at least 3000 B.C. It was even thought of that Marco Polo was the first navigator to have introduced pasta in Europe and the other countries as well. But either way, masarap talaga ang pasta! L'amore!  =)

Food Trip with Mama Dearest

Aah.. another food trip with mama. This is one of the best times where I am with my dearest mother, eating, talking and laughing. She's the most important person in my life. This is how a family-oriented person I am. Family time with mom, my siblings and the rest of the family is what matters to me after a brutal schedule of work-law school-and the student-council. It's been a pretty hefty lifestyle I've had for this year but I love this busy life. That is also the reason why after a preoccupied sched I find it refreshing to spend my rest day with my family. Their company is one of a kind and I love them even if we have catfights between siblings, no matter what, at the end of the day, we are still a family.

So yeah, spending precious moments with my family like going on a food trip with my foodie buddy, my mom, is for me, a totally worth it time with her. :) So check out what we had for snack after going to the church:

Lucky number of the day! :P
Cutesy crusty delish pizza for two.

Take a big bite, darling! :D

Mama's fave. She just loves food that has chicken in it!

And this is my drink. Four seasons!
Everytime we take a snack at Greenwich, I always go for this as my "pantulak". Hehe.

Lasagna! My other fave! The mozzarella cheese in it, the beef and all those flavors putting magic in your mouth.. ummn.. Yummiiiiiiiii :)

And of course, don't forget the french fries babe! :P

My foodie buddy. My date ;)
Nothing beats the company of the people you truly love and who loves you without condition. To my momma, I love you! Hehe. I think you already know that coz everyday I have always reminded you that. Well, until next food trip everyone. Ciao! :)

FIF Food Trip Part 2 at Greenwich

Another get together with my Mu Kappan sisters. I initially invited them all for a snack/dinner to celebrate our monthsary. By the way, FIF stands for Fortiores in Fide which means stronger in faith. I was the one who chose that name for our five-girl-batch before we entered the exclusive law fraternity and sorority. But I guess I'll have to write something about my batchmates. I forgot to kind of tell yah guys the moment I decided to be initiated in a law fraternity. It was kind of a long story but don't worry I promise to write another entry about my journey before I became a real Mu Kappan in heart, soul and in deed.

Anyway, here's another documented food trip with my FIF sisters. This time around, Precious is absent and with us was Mommy Jehan. We call her "mommy" because she's like the eldest in our group. More like an "ate" or a big sister. So yeah, in trying to celebrate for our monthsary I treated them at Greenwich known as the largest pasta and pizza chain in Philippines. I confess, I am one hell of a Greenwich food addict. I love their lasagna, their french fries and most of all their four seasons. Yummey!
It was fun being with them, eating our favorite foods and talking on just about everything. Yah know! Girls talk. Haha!

Now here's the kind of food I am talking about.
Scrumptious pizza sprinkled with different sorts of ingredients. Yet I hate it coz pineapple is added in it, phobia.. me no likey :(

Onion Rings with that damn delish mayo. Nomnomnom!

Zammy & Me. Playing with the onion rings. Haha. Peace out, yo!

RICE! The typical Filipino food. We can't live without it :) So to the farmers out there, you guys are the best! Hail to you!

Glenice & Mommy Jhe teasing us with how to seductively eat onion rings & pizzas :D

But I don't mind. To sexily eat the food or not, what for? Haha. Damn I am hungry :D

Ooh la la.. like rice, it seems like coke a cola is already a part of the Pinoy meal, donchathink?

Chicken plus gravy = heaven! :D

Glenice, tryna show us her black nails. Witchy! :D

Mommy Jhe on her newly rebonded hair. Congrats! Yah look stunning. :)

Bleh! Haha. Zam tryna make funny faces. Damn those dimples :P
Burp! What am I gonna do? I am gaining carbs again and again and again. Need to work out :D
